Frequently Asked Questions
All you need to know about your nautical experience in Barcelona.
Do I need any previous sailing experience to book a tour?
Not at all! Our sailing trips include a professional skipper (Ricard Prehn) who handles everything. You just relax and enjoy the ride.
Is the boat private for my group?
Yes, all our experiences are private. When you book a trip, the boat is exclusively for you and your group. No strangers or other tourists will be on board.
How many people can go on the boat?
Our boat has a legal capacity for up to 11 passengers plus the skipper, making it perfect for small groups, families, or parties.
Where do we start from? Is it easy to reach from Barcelona?
We are based in Port Garraf, Sitges. It's only 30-40 minutes from central Barcelona. You can take a direct train from Sants Station (R2 Sud) to Garraf Station, which is just a 5-minute walk from the port. It's much quieter and more beautiful than Barcelona city ports.
What should I bring for a sailing trip?
We recommend comfortable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. If you plan to swim, bring a swimsuit and a towel. For sunset trips, a light jacket is a good idea as it can get breezy on the water.
Are children and elderly people allowed on board?
Absolutely! Our boat is safe and stable for all ages. We have life jackets for children and adults of all sizes.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks on board. We have a small fridge and table for your comfort. For boat parties, we can also arrange catering for you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our priority. If the weather conditions are unsafe for sailing, we will contact you to reschedule the experience. If rescheduling is not possible, we will provide a full refund.
Is there a toilet on the boat?
Yes, our classic sailboat is fully equipped with a toilet, a small kitchen, and a comfortable interior lounge.
Is sleeping on a sailboat like staying in a hotel?
It's a unique experience! While it has comfortable cabins and all necessary amenities, remember it's a boat. The space is optimized but cozy. Most guests find it romantic and peaceful, far from the city noise.
Can we swim during the sailing trip?
Yes! If the sea conditions are good, we can anchor near the beautiful Garaff cliffs or Sitges beaches so you can enjoy a swim in the clear Mediterranean waters.
Is seasickness common?
Most of our guests don't experience any issues as we sail close to the coast where the water is usually calmer. However, if you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking a motion sickness pill (like Biodramina) 30 minutes before departure.
